Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Last updated: May 7, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what you may and may not do when using Clevertrek. It is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service. Violations may lead to content removal, Account suspension, Account termination, permanent bans, and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement or regulators.
Clevertrek is a service operated by Fernando Beneitez Vela-Hidalgo (sole proprietor under Spanish law, NIF 75794423Q, Avenida del Hotel, 1, 15º, 08860 Castelldefels, Barcelona, Spain).
1. Purpose
Clevertrek is a collaborative knowledge-management platform. We want it to be a useful, safe, and lawful place for individuals, teams, and organizations to organize and share information. This Policy defines the boundaries.
This Policy applies to everything you do through the Service, including the content you upload, the requests you make through AI Features, and the interactions you have with other users and with third-party integrations.
2. Prohibited Content
You must not upload, store, share, link to, or transmit through the Service any content that:
(a) is illegal under the laws of Spain, the European Union, or any other applicable jurisdiction;
(b) sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers minors, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — this is reported immediately to the competent authorities;
(c) contains sexual or sexually suggestive content involving real persons without their unambiguous consent, or any non-consensual intimate imagery;
(d) promotes, incites, glorifies, or facilitates violence, terrorism, hate crimes, genocide, or other serious harm to persons or groups;
(e) constitutes hate speech or discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other protected characteristic;
(f) harasses, threatens, defames, or incites violence against any individual or group;
(g) infringes intellectual property rights, including copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, or rights of publicity, of any third party;
(h) violates the privacy or data-protection rights of any third party, including the unlawful publication of personal data, doxing, or unauthorized exposure of confidential information;
(i) contains malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware, cryptojackers, or any other malicious code, or links to such material;
(j) facilitates phishing, scams, or other fraudulent activity;
(k) offers, advertises, or facilitates the trade in regulated or prohibited goods (controlled substances, weapons, counterfeit currency, illegal services, etc.) where such trade is unlawful;
(l) is designed to deceive or mislead, including disinformation campaigns, AI-generated impersonations of real people without disclosure, or manipulated media presented as authentic;
(m) violates the rights of any third party, including contractual rights, confidentiality obligations, and non-disclosure agreements.
3. Prohibited Behavior
You must not:
(a) Spam: send unsolicited bulk content, mass-create Workspaces or Visors for promotional purposes, or pollute search and discovery features with low-quality content;
(b) Scrape or extract data at scale beyond what is permitted by the Service's interfaces and rate limits, or use automated tools to circumvent navigation, access controls, or quota limits;
(c) Impersonate any person, organization, or brand, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
(d) Harass or stalk other users, including through repeated unwanted messages, mentions, or contact attempts;
(e) Operate fake or duplicate Accounts to evade limits, ban-evade, manipulate visibility, inflate engagement, or claim names or slugs;
(f) Engage in any commercial activity that violates these Terms, including reselling the Service, sublicensing it, or using a Free Plan for purposes that the Free Plan was not intended to support at scale;
(g) Manipulate the Service through coordinated inauthentic behavior, fake accounts, or artificial engagement schemes.
4. Security Violations
You must not:
(a) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its infrastructure, other Accounts, or any data not intended for you;
(b) probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or its network without prior written authorization (responsible disclosure to security@clevertrek.com is welcome);
(c) circumvent or attempt to circumvent any authentication, rate-limit, quota, or access-control mechanism;
(d) introduce malware or harmful code into the Service;
(e) carry out denial-of-service attacks or generate excessive load designed to disrupt the Service;
(f) intercept, modify, or interfere with communications between you, other users, and Clevertrek;
(g) misuse vulnerability information to harm Clevertrek or other users.
Responsible-security researchers may report findings via security@clevertrek.com. Good-faith reports submitted in line with reasonable disclosure practices will not be subject to legal action by Clevertrek.
5. Misuse of AI Features
When using AI Features (AI Chat addons, the Automation Engine, BYOK, etc.), you must not:
(a) use AI Features to generate content that is itself prohibited under Section 2 (illegal content, CSAM, hate speech, etc.);
(b) use AI Features to generate disinformation, deepfakes of real people without authorization, or content intended to deceive in fraudulent or harmful ways;
(c) attempt to extract, leak, or manipulate the system prompts, tools, configurations, or safety mechanisms of the underlying AI provider;
(d) carry out prompt-injection campaigns aimed at making the AI produce harmful outputs or breach the AI provider's policies;
(e) use AI Features to circumvent quota limits or to generate content for resale outside the conditions of your Plan;
(f) use AI Features in ways that violate the terms of the underlying AI provider (currently Anthropic). Anthropic's usage policies apply in addition to this AUP.
You are responsible for the AI inputs you submit and for any use of the outputs.
6. Misuse of Integrations and Connectors
When using Google API integrations, MCP Connectors, the Chrome extension, or any other integration:
(a) you must comply with the terms and acceptable-use policies of the third-party service;
(b) you must not use Clevertrek to exfiltrate, scrape, or aggregate third-party data in violation of that service's terms or applicable law;
(c) you must not use the integration to perform actions you are not authorized to perform on the third-party service;
(d) you must not abuse OAuth flows or rate limits of the third-party service.
7. Commercial Restrictions on Free Plans
Free Plans are intended to allow individuals and small teams to evaluate and use Clevertrek. They are not intended to be used:
(a) as a backbone of a commercial operation that should reasonably be on a Paid Plan;
(b) to create networks of accounts that share quota or AI resources beyond their fair-use limits;
(c) to abuse promotional offers or to create accounts solely to claim free credits, free names, or other benefits.
Where Clevertrek determines, in its reasonable discretion, that a Free Plan is being used outside its intended scope, we may limit functionality, require an upgrade, or suspend the Account.
8. Reporting Violations
To report content or behavior that may violate this Policy, contact us at abuse@clevertrek.com. Provide:
- a description of the alleged violation;
- the URL(s) or identifiers of the content or Account;
- any supporting evidence;
- your contact details so we can follow up if needed.
For copyright complaints, please use the procedure set out in the DMCA / Copyright Infringement Policy. For trademark complaints, please use the procedure set out in the Trademark, Username, and Workspace Naming Policy.
We review reports in good faith and act on them as we judge appropriate.
9. Consequences of Violations
Depending on the severity, frequency, and context of a violation, Clevertrek may:
- issue a warning;
- remove or restrict access to specific content;
- suspend specific features (e.g., AI Features, public publication);
- suspend the Account temporarily;
- terminate the Account;
- impose a permanent ban;
- forfeit usernames, Workspace slugs, or other identifiers (see Trademark and Naming Policy);
- refer the case to law enforcement, regulators, or the affected third party where required.
Where reasonably possible and appropriate, we will give you notice and an opportunity to cure. In serious cases (illegal content, security risk, significant harm), we may act immediately and without prior notice.
10. Updates to This Policy
We may update this AUP. Material changes will be communicated as set out in the Terms of Service.
